Membership Application

By applying for membership in Building Owners and Managers Association Greater Charlotte ("BOMA-GC"), I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following: 

I have fully read and understood, and agree to comply with, the Policy Handbook established by BOMA-Greater regarding my BOMA-GC membership, as they may be modified from time to time by BOMA-GC. (the "Policies").

• I acknowledge and agree that as an active member, I will put forth reasonable effort to attend at least fifty percent (50%) of locally scheduled BOMA-GC events within every consecutive twenty-four (24) month period beginning on the date of my initial admission as a BOMA-GC member. I further acknowledge and agree that BOMA-GC events are, from time to time, held in North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as other locations and that compliance with BOMA-GC's mandatory minimum attendance requirements will, from time to time, require me to travel more than 200 miles from Charlotte, NC. A local event will be any scheduled event that is located within 20 miles of your office address. 
• I have fully read and understood, and agree to comply with, the Code of Conduct outlined in the Policy Handbook of the Building Owners and Managers Association Greater Charlotte, as modified from time to time, and further agree to conduct my professional and business affairs in a manner that will not create a negative perception of, or reflect poorly on Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Charlotte (BOMA-GC) or BOMA International. or 
• I hereby fully and forever release, discharge and hold harmless, BOMA-GC, BOMA International and BOMA-Carolinas West Virginia and each of their respective predecessors, successors, assigns, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, employees, and representatives (collectively, "BOMA Releasees") from any and all claims of whatever nature arising out of or in connection with my membership in BOMA-GC, including, but not limited to, my attendance at and participation in BOMA-GC events.
• As a condition precedent to exercising any rights or remedies (including, but not limited to, commencing a lawsuit or other legal proceeding) that I have or may have regarding any disputes or disagreements arising out of or in connection with my application for and, if granted, membership in BOMA-GC, I agree that I must first submit any such dispute or disagreement for resolution by the then-presiding President of BOMA-GC.
• I acknowledge and agree that BOMA-GC may, in its discretion, revoke my membership for violation of any and all reasons allowed in the rules, policies and/or bylaws of BOMA GC or the Code of Conduct.
