Annual Membership Meeting Review:

The 2019 BOMA Greater Charlotte Annual Membership Meeting was a great success!  A special thanks to our many sponsors for making this event possible!

This year's local conference began on Thursday, September 26 with committee and board meetings at Foundation for The Carolinas.  During the afternoon members had the opportunity to attend a variety of educational breakout sessions from industry experts.  The turnout from our Principal Members and local Property Managers & Engineers was a testament to the caliber of speakers and relevant topics.

The Annual Meeting Welcome Social on Thursday evening was held next door to Foundation for the Carolinas at RiRa's and was a great opportunity to meet both new members and old friends.

Friday morning everyone ventured to the US National Whitewater Center for our Annual Membership Business Meeting and Member of the Year Awards. During the business meeting, principal members voted on the 2020 Board of Directors and the 2020 budget.

At the conclusion of our Business Meeting we were lucky to have local entrepreneur,
Chris Elmore, speak about "The Science of Happiness" as he shared stories that he believes has shaped his success both personally and professionally. In fact all in attendance had the opportunity to 'pop the cork' to express what brings them happiness, which was a great segue into our fabulous afternoon activities at the US National Whitewater Center.  A super way to end  fun event in our hometown!
